Jakarta Receives a Visit from Takalar Regency Regional Officials

The Jakarta Regional Cooperation Bureau received a working visit (kunker) from regional officials, people's representatives, and BUMD Takalar Regency Director, South Sulawesi in the Multipurpose Room, 22nd floor of Block G City Hall Building, on Tuesday (4/12).

They want to learn about BUMD's Bylaw and its governance

Jakarta Regional Cooperation Bureau Head Marulina Dewi said that the group from Takalar Regency consisted of 30 people who were from Takalar Regency DPRD Acting Vice Chairman Muchtar Maluddin; Takalar District Government Assistant Andi Rijal Mustamin; Takalar Regency DPRD Pansus Chairman Bakri DG Sewang; Takalar PDAM Director Budiar Rosal; and other ranks.

They wanted to learn about local regulations and BUMD governance related to providing the best quality service based on customer satisfaction.

"They want to learn about BUMD's Bylaw and its governance. In this meeting, we present the President Director of Perumda PAM Jaya for sharing. We also offer cooperation in the form of food with them," she explained.

Takalar Regency DPRD Acting Vice Chairman Muchtar Maluddin explained that he wanted to delve into the planning of the draft bylaw. He was currently changing the status of a regional company to a limited liability company and changing the status of a regional drinking water company to a regional public drinking water company (Perumda).

"Our visit is to study the bylaw amendment. We got data that the bylaws in Jakarta are the same as what we need. Today's meeting also forms a synergy between Takalar Regency with Jakarta," he explained.

He expressed his gratitude to Jakarta for providing input, suggestions, and material data for their consideration.

"InsyaAllah, we will apply the results of this working visit according to need," he stated.

Takalar Regency PDAM Director Budiar Rosal hoped that the meeting could follow the success of BUMD in Jakarta. He assessed that Jakarta Perumda is the best in Indonesia.

"We want to follow the example of Perumda PAM Jaya, which has developed and cooperates with third parties," he closed.
